A WEDDING IN A HOUSE

Well actually, it was two houses for my 11 Didsbury Park Wedding Photography with Becky & Matt. As alternative wedding venues go, 11 Didsbury Park is pretty cool and I loved shooting here. The venue is split up up into two houses, one which is the ceremony and celebration house known as Didsbury House and then the other part to the venue, just further down the road is 11 Didsbury Park. This is where Becky + Matt had their buffet wedding breakfast and chilled out evening part to their wedding day.

DIDSBURY TOWNHOUSE

Didsbury Park is small & luxurious Victorian townhouse wedding venue, situated in Didsbury, Manchester. The venue is part of the Eclectic Hotels chain which also has other popular Manchester venues such Kings Street Town House & Great John Street. It’s such a personal and intimate place to get married in and is most definitely one of my favourite wedding venues. On first impressions, it seems slightly unusual to host your wedding in an old house of this design, but I found it full of character which encouraged a relaxed vibe throughout the day.

RELAXED AND CHILLED OUT

Becky + Matt Wanted a relaxed and chilled out wedding vibe for their big day. I must have shot around 99% unposed and natural for this wedding, with only a few artistic shots of the couple thrown in along the way. The vibe was incredible for the whole day, people laying around and enjoying the sunshining rays in a classy back yard belonging to a lovely venue. All of Becky + Matt’s guests were really easy to get along with and made it a dream to photograph everyone.

GARDEN GAMES

To keep people entertained this venue provides a few garden games along with a hammock for the people to sit back, relax and fall off! During the day it become a hot spot for guests to have their turn in chilling out. I caught a magic documentary moment of one lady guest repeatedly falling from the hammock. The amount of pure documnetary story telling shots I managed to get at this venue was insane. I’m very please with how this wedding turned out.
