CHETHAMS LIBRARY WEDDING
A lovely spring wedding shooting at Chethams Library in Manchester. I was very eager to photograph at this historic public library in the city centre for Roo & Patrick. I hadn’t heard of this venue initially before they booked me for their wedding photography, but I soon got acquainted with the place after some research. As soon as I arrived at the library, I was instantly taken back to the gothic interior of the main hall which is used for the ceremony. The windows of the ceremony room are nicely positioned to beam light through from the passing sun in order to get a very creative and dramatic vibe for the images.

PORTRAITS IN THE CITY
Walking to the entrance of the venue as you hit the urban streets of Manchester, it’s a total contrast in scenery but an excellent way to break up the background within your wedding imagery so the story has a more interesting flow. I used this area for a few portraits of Roo & Patrick. I like to be creative and alternative with my style of portraits and the city streets are really an awesome backdrop to enable me to work my stuff with my camera.
