RIBBY HALL VILLAGE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I found myself back at Ribby Hall Village for a spot of wedding photography for Emily + Chris’ spectacular day. These guys booked me to capture their day after they saw a wedding which I photographed at Ribby Hall Village last year. Emily & Chris both decided to get ready up at the hotel for their morning preparations, which was great for me as I was able to get both their mornings in memories so that they could both see each other’s side of the story. As I arrived, Chris had sent Emily a personal video on an Ipad so I was straight into capturing real moments right from walking through door, what a little smoothie 😉 We had Emily’s mum also, who provided the entertainment during the morning, she literally had the hairdressers in stitches!
Emily & Chris kept the day straight forward and had the ceremony and the celebrations all at Ribby Hall, with this I was able to keep on capturing magic moments all in one place. After these two dudes got married, we headed over to the allotment area in the village. Here, there is a nice, neat area with a greenhouse and various other things growing – perfect to take advantage of for pictures! Big hats off to Emily’s brother who gathered some air to hang his leg right across their faces for one of my artistic setups. We finished up the photos and headed back just in time for the meal in the Garden Room, which was dressed really nicely with blues and whites. This room was very well-lit with the summer sun beaming through windows, providing lots of natural light to help with the photos. Just before we headed into the Garden Room, Zanda magic did a few little personal tricks for the bride and groom. Having a magician on your day is a great a talking point and keeps your guests entertained. I got some fantastic guest reactions at this wedding down to the skills of Zanda magic (excellent choice of magician, well recommended!).
After the meal I decided to use the fields over the road from the venue for a few quick shots of Emily & Chris, really glad I did, too! The sun was about to set so we had a really nice light situation perfect for a few back lighting shots. I love the shots I got of these two in the field, Emily couldn’t stop laughing as she nearly fell into a ditch as I ask them to step in amongst the crops. Wait till you see these images, the happiness was flowing out in this set of photos.
Emily’s brother and friends decided to officially open the dance floor by performing for the first dance. A cool moment for them both to remember. The dance floor was now alive for me to shoot the craziness of the guests and their strange dance moves. I hope you enjoy looking through the photos as much I have enjoyed photographing my latest Ribby Hall Wedding! Big congratulations to Emily & Chris!
