Introducing Mariah + Chris’s wedding photography at Elizabeth Gaskell House in Manchester. Located just on the outskirts of the city centre, this historic Victorian house is a lovely place to celebrate your intimate wedding celebrations. The perfect place for micro weddings.
The drawing room is the most popular room of the venue to host the ceremony as it is large enough to host several guests. Large windows allow pockets of light through that creatively illuminate the drawing room. It has a very intimate feel when photographing a wedding here, you are very close to the guests, which I like as I can be more flexible with my method of shooting.
After the ceremony, there is time for some celebratory drinks as the guests are allowed to wander throughout this Victorian wedding venue. Once the formalities of congratulating the bride and groom with some confetti and hugs are over, the celebrations continue downstairs in the cellar where canapes and more drinks are served.
