LAKE DISTRICT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER AT THE PUNCHBOWL INN CROSTHWAITE

Welcome to the intimate affair of Ellie and Neil’s Lake District Wedding with embee as their photographer. What I loved about this wedding was how relaxed, quaint and cosy everything was, a real essence of two families coming together. This was a small family wedding in the rustic setting of the Punchbowl Inn at Crosthwaite. The surroundings were adorned with lush fields, narrow country lanes and cobbled stone walls. All of which created some fantastic Lake District wedding photographs. As chilled as the general wedding party was, Ellie was a bundle of giddiness all morning, which made the atmosphere electric as she was perhaps the most excited bride I have experienced capturing so far. I think the photographs really reflect her very happy mood as you can see from the images below.

It’s been a real treat to be capturing some precious documentary photographs for my old circle of school friends. Ellie was next in line shortly after I captured another good friend, Alex, and his wife Laura’s wedding, back in June. It was a pleasure to be part of the day to capture some candid images of their very big day.

Ellie and Neil chose some great vendors to be part of their special day, but I’d like to give the staff at the Punchbowl Inn a mention, who worked their socks off all day and were extremely attentive and helpful throughout. Other quirks included the wild, unstructured flowers from Brackens of Bowness, which complimented Ellie’s dress perfectly. The cool tasting ice-cream from the Mountain Village Ice-cream Bike Guys went down splendidly as everyone enjoyed the eclectic beats from The Long Players. Other vendors can be found listed below. Enjoy the collection of photos that capture this chilled, intimate day below.
