Ashfield House Wedding Venue Photography

Last month I headed up to Ashfield House Wedding Venue in Wigan after some major refurbishment had taken place over the winter, ready for this years Brides & Grooms. The refurbishment ideas and work have come from a newly found friend within in the wedding industry, ‘Rachael Marsh’ from Feather & Paint. Rachael is making a rather big splash with the interior design work she has done so far. Her work is off the scale and has some classic modern twists along with some quirky additions to Ashfield House Wedding Venue.

Her completion of the refurb came just in time for the venue to show off what she has achieved for their first wedding open evening of the year. I am very eager to shoot my next wedding here in April, I am strong advocate that being surrounded with great decor aids in setting the scene for wedding photography.  Ashfield House has lots of little corners of interest that are perfect to place a Bride & Groom for their more sentimental photos of them both during a wedding day.

Whilst being there and capturing some great shots for Rachael I also caught up with Sarah from the Rose Boutique in Wigan and got a few pics for her portfolio aswell. Sarah dressed the venue up with her flower talent for the evening so guests could gather ideas from the work she has done.
