I GOT MARRIED
2018 marks the year I got married to my best mate. I don’t really do soppy, but getting married is one of the best days of your life. It felt such a rush and the day literally is a blur, it went that fast. I often tell my couples to enjoy their day and take it all in, little did I know how quickly time goes. Infact, our engagement in Edinburgh also feels like forever ago now.
Where to have our wedding.
So Karly and I decided to get married at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe. It was the fourth wedding venue we visited after Owen House Barn, The Well Being Farm & Heaton House. I don’t think we actually had anything particular in mind whilst on the hunt for the right wedding venue, until we visited Holmes Mill. After arriving at the open day we were instantly asking questions and quickly put a date in the diary to book this industrial style building to host our fantastic day.
Who did we hire
Who to hire for our wedding day wasn’t actually that hard. Through the years I have met some incredible vendors whilst being a wedding photographer and I often would come home and tell Karly about them. So by the time it came round for us to start picking people to help make our day something special, it was very easy indeed. So who did we have?
