LUXURY HOTEL & SPA WEDDING VENUE

Introducing Georgina + Stephen’s wedding photography at The Crow Wood Hotel in Burnley. The Crow Wood Hotel is a stunning venue, it has a very grand &  luxurious feel. It’s easily recognised as being one of the top exclusive venues in Lancashire. As well as a hotel, this venue has the highly regarded multi-award-winning Woodland Spa & AA Rosette Restaurant, Wilfred’s.

PORTRAITS BY THE LAKE

One thing I admire about great wedding venues is the provision of spaces to use for portraits. Venues that provide such spaces most definitely have the couple and the photographer in mind. The Crow Wood has two places that I like to use for wedding portraits. There is the obvious lake area which is around the back of the venue, a big open space to utilise the Lancashire countryside as a backdrop. There’s also the canopy at the front of the venue which you can use in the day and at night time which have two different feels. The canopy has some really odd cut-out shapes in it which are really cool to get creative by photographing the couple through the holes.

KICK STARTING THE PARTY OFF WITH SINGING WAITERS

There is no better wedding than a wedding full of energy. This is why I love singing waiters. It’s not so much about getting everyone up dancing, but for me it’s about the energy they inject into people and fill them full of a buzz that carries right the way through until the evening. There’s a stark difference with weddings that do and don’t have singing waiters. The waiters do an amazing job of forcing people out of their seats which creates awesome photo opportunities. I would highly recommend getting singing waiters for your Crow Wood Hotel wedding.
