A CLASSY RESTAURANT WEDDING VENUE

Laura + Kev hosted their wedding reception at Alberts Standish and here is their wedding photography. Alberts is a beautiful and stylish wedding venue in the heart of Standish. Alberts Standish is the latest restaurant in the Alberts chain of venues to be developed, bringing their classy and sophisticated dining vibe to my home town of Wigan. It’s good to see this place work as a wedding venue as well as a restaurant, something that the Alberts chains seem to have mastered very well.

Formally known as the Beeches, this place now hosts many events, including weddings. This is really handy for me as having another wedding venue in Wigan means I don’t have to travel that far to visit such a nice venue.

OTHER ALBERTS VENUES

I’ve photographed weddings at the other Alberts restaurants in Worsley & Manchester. The elegance of building design and professionalism of service is reflected across the brand at every venue. All are incredibly well looked after which makes photographing them a pleasure. Alberts Standish is a very large site, capable of hosting 3 separate weddings simultaneously. Each room has a different capacity but all are equally versatile to transform to your needs.

AN ALTERNATIVE WEDDING DAY

Laura & Kev decided to have a small wedding with all their closest family & friends. The whole wedding was very local to me, in fact, groom preparations was literally down the road and bridal preparations were in Garswood. Both are extremely relaxed, Kev and the lads supping craft ales and the girls were on the finest prosecco. The timings for the were very alternative as it was a late afternoon ceremony and their wedding meal and speeches were in the evening.

Alberts hosted their wedding in the Library room. A very unique space that keeps the details of the pre-existing building of the Beeches. Here they had a three-course candle-lit dinner with toasted prosecco to finish just in time for the speeches.
