A CLASSY CITY WEDDING VENUE

Ganella + Alex hosted their wedding reception at Castlefield Rooms and here is their wedding photography. Castlefield Rooms is a beautiful and stylish wedding venue on the outer city perimeter of Manchester in the area of Castlefield. Castlefield Rooms is situated in a rather scenic part of Manchester, complete with waterways and bridges with hints of green amongst the cityscape. It’s quite an exciting place to have your wedding, bringing their classy and sophisticated venue vibe into the historic industrial surroundings. It’s good to see this place work as a wedding venue as well as a restaurant, something that the Alberts chains seem to have mastered very well.

OTHER ALBERTS VENUES

I’ve photographed weddings at the other Alberts restaurants in Worsley & Wigan. The elegance of building design and professionalism of service is reflected across the brand at every venue. All are incredibly well looked after which makes photographing them a pleasure. Alberts Standish is a very large site, capable of hosting 3 separate weddings simultaneously. Each room has a different capacity but all are equally versatile to transform to your needs.

AN ALTERNATIVE WEDDING DAY

Ganella + Alex booked me to capture their UK ceremony as they had previously went to Vegas to be officially married. So their day at Castlefield Rooms was scaled down slightly. They still managed to fit in a mock ceremony, cake cutting, reception drinks, wedding breakfast, and the first dance of course! I love it around here for photos. There are loads of locations you can use. There are the obvious canal bridges that are well used by other photographers, but me being me wanted to put my own stamp on things and decided to use other areas around the venue that I haven’t seen being used before. One of my favourite shots was getting quite creative with the sun, at the top of the stairs I noticed some awesome beams of light cutting through and decided to position the couple there.
