Two reet good Wigan Weddings

Phew!! This has been a long  but great weekend for capturing some grand Wigan wedding photography images. Easily clocked over 30 hours in prep, shooting, travel and back up time for these back to back weddings. I have shot over 10,000 images on my two wedding cameras in this space aswell. I had an absolute belter of a weekend being involved on these two, espescially having a laugh with the couples and guests.

The first of the two weddings was at Alberts, in Worsely for Danielle & Dave. I was quite excited to see this place run as a wedding venue. I have drove past this venue a lot and I have never dined here, so I didn’t know what to expect. I got a cracking picture of Danielle with two bridesmaids cartwheeling in front of her. The breakdown was basically that I had the bride and groom set up in front of a clean white wall and the young bridesmaids were doing hand stands and cartwheels. Using my creative initiative I set up a fantastic shot of which you can see below.

Next up was Emma & Paul who got married at Kilhey Court in Wigan. I was very keen to see this place again, as the last time I was here was around 4 years ago. I got to use the reservoir around the back of the venue which was very fitting for my style of photography. The clouds were amazing hanging over Emma & Paul at this point of the day. One of my favorite shots of the day was during the morning preparations at Paul’s mum’s house. She lives next to a lake and there were ducks, so I got paul to stand near the edge of the lake and I dished out bread around his feet to attract the ducks. This alternative shot is on the below gallery.

If you’re getting married, then come and take a look my portfolio of work to get a better idea of my style and approach. I also have recent completed weddings available for you to take a look at a whole timeline of a wedding day. Feel free to get in touch or share my work.
